"Home is where the Hearth is," and, thusly, fire had to be contained, lest it overrun the home, and again, nature availed itself toward this great task.

Sand, acted on by Lightning gave the people Glass, and imagination fashioned Glass into that great vessel of fire, known as the Glass Nantucket Candle Holder. Fashioned from sand, fire and great will, it conjures up moments of spirit rising, of bonding with others, and of wresting fire from wind.

The East Coast's answer to the classic Hurricane candle holder, the Nantucket Tealight Lanterns transform an ordinary gathering into an event by scattering the illuminating glow of candlelight, while keeping the flame - and home - protected.

We loved how stable and safe this lantern is, as well as its impermeabilty to elements. The Frosted Nantucket also got us thinking about that other light source... The LED candle, and you can see the wonderful results we got by using the submersible LEDs.

Handmade from mouth blown glass in attractive clear or frosted finishes, it is easy to use; simply lift the tealight candle insert to light or extinguish the flame. For use indoors or out. Some use the Nantucket on tables, while others use it to mark the trail to the table. Works well either way.
