This clear candle resembles a clear icicle and when it is lit, the light from the flame travels down the taper illuminating it within. The effect can only be described as fire burning ice.

The light from the flame is transmitted down through the wax. Unlike paraffin, soy, or traditional palm wax candles where the wax blocks the light, the light from the flame in clear Kristal tapers is visible and adds to the spectacular luminary experience.

These are not gel candles.

These candles are drip less, but keep this in mind, all drip less candles require ideal burning conditions. Make sure that wick is trimmed to 1/4" before each lighting and that there is no breeze or draft present. Keeping your wicks trimmed also helps the candle to burn properly and minimize soot! For taper candles, we recommend using a Bobeche. Bobeches sit at the base of the taper candle and catch any drippings that may occur.
