Before first time use, straighten wick before lighting.
For first time use, burn candle a minimum of 1 - 2 hours for best candle life and show performance.
Trim wick as necessary when flame or wick is too large to reduce possibility of smoking and sooting. Do not allow wick trimmings to accumulate in wax pool. Basic candle maintenance.
Place on temperature safe surface. Don not burn near vents or drafts. Basic candle safety.
