How does it work?

Opportunities to link to 100Candles.com through the use of banners, text links, graphics, virtual storefronts, Promo Codes and more. Quickly, you will begin earning referral fees for all qualifying revenues.

100Candles.com will provide you with all of the links you will need. We offer several banners to choose from. You can use any one of them or as many of them as you like. We also offer plain text links as well as Promo Codes to pass out to your friends and family. If that’s not enough, you can even link directly to any page, to any item on our site simply by using our handy tool to generate your link.

Where should I post 100Candles.coms’ banners, logos, text links, etc?

We assume that you know your site, so we give you the flexibility to post links wherever you like. You can also post more than one link on your site to increase your click through to our site and earn more.
100Candles.com will recommend areas on your site to post links upon your request.
Please note that you must inform us all of the URL's you will want to post links on to enable the affiliate tracking system.

How does the affiliate system track?

Our system records where a visitor comes from and places a cookie on the users computer. On the bottom of each page of 100Candles.com, there is an indicator "[A0]". The "A" stands for "Affiliate" and the "0" is the value.
If a visitor comes directly to 100Candles.com, then the value is set to "0".
If a visitor comes to our site through your site using the link, then the value will display "Your Affiliate ID Number". (ex. [A1234] )
The cookie we place stays for a period of 30 days and is NOT over-written. This means that once a visitor comes from your site and then leaves our site and comes back from anywhere else, the value will remain as "Your Affiliate ID Number".
This is generated by the url you enter in the Affiliate Tracking URL. You must make sure to enter only URL's that you own in the Affiliate Tracking URL. If we find that you entered a URL that is not owned by you, then your affiliate account will be terminated and commission amount will be void if any.

Can I create special affiliate codes to use in files or in emails?

Yes you can, simply add one of the following to the end of the url:

If the url does not contain a "?", then add this: ?affid=[your affiliate ID]
Example of end result: ?affid=1133

If the url does contain a "?", then add this: &affid=[your affiliate ID]
Example of end result: &affid=1133

How do I test if my links are tracking?

First go to your site where you placed the link to 100Candles.com and make sure that there are no open windows that have 100Candles.com website displayed.
1) DELETE your cookies.
2) Click on the link to go to 100Candles.com.
3) Check at the bottom of the screen to see that your Affiliate Account ID appears in the brackets.

What happens if the banners are not properly linking?

100Candles.coms’ affiliate department can help check to see if the links are functioning properly. If you have any questions, we are only an email away affiliates@100Candles.com .

When do I start earning commission?

Once you place our links on your site(s), you are on your way to earning revenue.

You will be paid every month as long as your commission exceeds $25 for that month. Any commissions that did not exceed $25 for the month will be paid at the end of the year when we run a recap report for the year.

How do I keep track of my earnings?

You can access our online reporting tool that is available to you 24/7.
Your account is protected with a username which is your email address and a password which you select when you register.

What do I need to do to earn more money?

Place your links in as many places on your site as you can. Keep the structure clean and don't confuse your visitor! Create groupings and make it easier for your visitor to find what they are looking for!
