Tea parties have been going on for many years. Little girls have fond childhood memories. Here are some nice tea party table accent ideas to make your event memorable. If this is for a personal affair, then splurge on scented candles. If this for an event, we recommend unscented candles as people may have allergies to certain scents. It is a good rule of thumb to stay away from anything scented for large events.

1. Start with some pillar candles.
2. Taper candles.
   (Choose colors that remind you of your childhood. You can also substitute battery operated candles for real candles.)
3. Fake flowers and plants. (Hint: You can use string lights to illuminate and bring them to life.)
