We want to help you maximize the life of your candle and the pleasures you get from lighting them. Here are a few helpful tips: First lighting, burn your Square Pillar candle minimum 1 hour per inch of candle diameter and no more than half-hour after. This will set your candle memory and help contain candle from dripping. Then, on each lighting thereafter, burn minimum 1 hour per inch of candle diameter to maximize burn hours. Trim your wicks to 1/4 inch before each lighting. If you your candle starts to flicker too much or give off smoke, extinguish, trim wick to 1/4" and re-light. Do not let debris fall into your wax pool! Always burn on a sturdy and stable fire retardent surface! Always remember that even dripless candles may drip! Keep away from flammable sources, children and pets! Staying informed and educated about burning candles will help you enjoy them safely with your loved ones. As in all colored candles, dyes used may bleed after time. To ensure your furniture is not stained and damaged, please make sure to use proper candle holders to act as a protection barrier. Please also note that all candles, after time, will change color. Color change is usually slow and subtle, but the speed that the color changes is determined by the environment that the candle is in. Color change is usually due to temperature changes and sun light, but other factors may play a role as well.
