This is a first for us, but as you know we support our troops and all that they do for our country. Unfortunately many times the news only reports the bad and the good goes un-noticed. After coming across this story, we wanted to share it with you.

We believe that more people should be as generous and caring and more importantly, they should be news worthy. If you find a story of anyone that has done anything good, we welcome your emails to [email protected] and we will post their story on our site. We believe that if people are bombarded with good news, it will inspire them to do good for others!

Denzel Washington and his family visited the troops at Brook Army Medical Center, in San Antonio, Texas (BAMC) the other day. This is where soldiers who have been evacuated from Germany come to be hospitalized in the United States, especially burn victims. There are some buildings there called Fisher Houses. The Fisher House is a Hotel where soldiers' families can stay for little or no charge, while their soldier is staying on base. But as you can imagine, they are almost filled most of the time.

While Denzel Washington was visiting BAMC, they gave him a tour of one of the Fisher Houses. He asked how much one of them would cost to build. He took his cheque book out and wrote a cheque for the full amount right there on the spot. The soldiers were amazed to hear this story and wanted to get the word out to the American public, because it warmed their hearts to hear it.

I just wanted to send a quick message regarding my customer service experience with 100 candles. Approximately three weeks ago I called to inquire about Candelabras for my wedding centerpieces and was connected with Audrey, unfortunately I did not get a last name. Anyway, she is exceptional. She answered all my questions and was extremely pleasant to speak with. She suggested that I order one to ensure I liked them prior to ordering the 18 I needed. It was obvious that she was concerned with my satisfaction and did not want me to encounter the re-stocking fee for 18 if they were not what I was looking for. THANK YOU AUDREY for your superb customer service, you truly went above what was expected!

I loved the candelabra so decided to order 17 more. I called to place the order and was fortunate enough to speak with Rafi who was also exceptional! He has to be one of the most pleasant individuals I have interacted with over the phone in a long time. Here are some pics for your testimonial page.... I had a Bat Mitzvah to throw!! Centerpieces to decide on, what was I going to do!! Flowers, naah too bridal. Balloons naah overdone and it's just asking for kids to run around and pop them all night long. I clicked on to 100candles.com and phew, my life suddenly seemed less stressed. You had so many beautiful pieces to choose from it was so hard to narrow it down. In the end my choice was the Mediterranean candelabra. It was absolutely stunning. I also placed The frosted glass with the blue LED around the table and it gave off a lavender tint(which was the color scheme).

People still talk about how beautiful the tables looked that night. I love the way the room glowed all night long. Thank you so much for all your help and finding the green votive to go into the candelabras, you guys really go the extra mile to make your customers happy.

100Candles adds Bollywood spice to Indian Wedding!

Here are some recent pics of a wedding I attended in India. Thanks to 100Candles, the events were a blast. Everyone were amazed at the battery operated lights that I purchased from 100Candles.com. There were 3 events and amazingly the lights lasted through it all!

I have allergies and so do several of my friends and so we needed to order pretty, colored, unscented candles. You were the only one to have colored candles that were that color all the way thru and not just covered with a thin coat of color that peels off. Again THANK YOU for being who you are and I am going to pass the word to all my friends everywhere. It is hard to find a good company who cares about others.

I spent many months searching the web for the best deal on candle centerpieces for my wedding. Unfortunately for me I am very particular and couldn't find what I wanted.

I had a fall wedding and I knew I wanted to incorporate the look of trees/fall. I just happened to be lucky enough to finally find 100candles.com!!

100candles had the most perfect candle centerpieces that were shaped just like trees...AND matched my color scheme!! The best part of all was how inexpensive they were!! But, that wasn't the end of it... Because I bought so many I even got a quantity discount! Fifteen candle centerpieces cost less than one equivalent centerpiece from my florist!! I can't tell you how many compliments I got from those centerpieces that night!! I had people fighting to take them home, and I even had someone PAY me to get the one my husband and I were going to keep!

My name is Vaughn Kelly and the reason I am writing is to praise everything that is 100Candles.

I purchased 25 lantern candle centerpieces for my wedding on October 22, 2005 and it was a hit! It made the room look absolutely beautiful!

At the end of the night we gave out the centerpieces- but kept some for us of course!- to our family and close friends as an "extra" party favor and they absolutely love it! Unfortunately, our photographer didn't get a picture of how beautiful the room looked so I don't have anything to show you. But believe my words, the centerpieces made the room.
