Hanging Crystals - Disc Cut Clear Glass Crystal

The disc cut, the quietest crystal in the collection.

A flat round disc, sometimes called a rondelle or a coin drop, with a beveled polished rim. It behaves unlike every pointed drop here: as it turns it goes edge on and all but disappears, then swings back face on as one bright flash. The effect is a slow shimmer rather than constant glitter.

Each disc comes with a spiral wire hook fitted at the top, ready for a garland string, a beaded curtain, a manzanita branch or a chandelier arm.

The disc is the easiest decorative crystal to use in numbers, because a hundred of them will not make a room look busy. Strung close together they build a curtain or a photo backdrop. Spaced along a branch they read as light rather than as decoration.
